About

The latest research in cognitive psychology suggests that a person’s gut reaction, or “intuition”, is as good or better a predictor of what is beneficial as rational thought. INTUITION is a game that taps into this highly evolved sense of adaptive unconscious or “intuition” to play for high stakes with high energy results. You might think you’d be pretty good at selecting the right answer when you are told 9 out 10 choices are correct answers (90%). But what about 1 out of 4 (25%)? It’s not good guess work that will help you advance, it needs to be something more. Good intuition.

Intuition Science

Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.”

– Albert Einstein

Background on Intuition

Intuitions, or gut feelings, are sudden, strong judgments whose origin we can’t immediately explain. Although they seem to emerge from an obscure inner force, they actually begin with a perception of something outside—a facial expression, a tone of voice, a visual inconsistency so fleeting you’re not even aware you noticed.  (256) 583-0021

Measuring Intuition

Whether you call it a “gut feeling,” an “inner voice” or a “sixth sense,” intuition can play a real part in people’s decision making, a new study suggests.

For the first time, researchers devised a technique to measure intuition. After using this method, they found evidence that people can (309) 650-9910 to make faster, more accurate and more confident decisions, according to the findings, published online in April in the journal Psychological Science.  562-546-5483

How To Play

“The confidence that individuals have in their beliefs depends mostly on the quality of the story they can tell about what they see, even if they see little.”

What Is Intuition

The latest research in cognitive psychology suggests that a person’s gut reaction, or “intuition”, is as good or better a predictor of what is beneficial as rational thought. INTUITION is a game that taps into this highly evolved sense of adaptive unconscious or “intuition” to play for high stakes with high energy results. You might think you’d be pretty good at selecting the right answer when you are told 9 out 10 choices are correct answers (90%). But what about 1 out of 4 (25%)? It’s not good guess work that will help you advance, it needs to be something more. Good intuition.

How To Play Intuition

There are 6 rounds plus a final “mastermind” round.

Each round consists of a set of objects. We surveyed 101 random people and asked them to choose their favorite object (from selected pieces of media). This sets the rankings of the objects’ popularity you must choose from. IE: 10 pictures of Will Smith or 6 videos of puppies, etc.

The first round starts with 10 objects (pieces of media). you must choose 4 objects

The second round has 8, and you must choose 3.

The third round has 6, and you must choose 2.

The fourth round has 4, you must choose 1.

The fifth round has 3, you must choose 1.

The sixth round has 2, you must choose 1.

The idea is for you to choose the more popular objects and avoid the least popular object in each round. If you choose the least popular choice (essentially the wrong answer), you receive a strike. 2 strikes and your game ends.

As the percentage of choosing the right answer decreases, the winnings possible increases. You are rewarded for accurately reflecting the panel’s favorite choices. The more popular the choice you intuit, the more it is worth (popularity as ranked by the survey panel).

GUTCHECKS – The Professor, The Psychic, or the AI

During the first 6 rounds you are offered the chance to use 3 Gutchecks. These “lifelines” ostensibly aid in the decision making process. When unsure about a set of objects in a round a you have the ability to ask our Professor, a PH.D. in Group Psychology (scientific reasoning) or our Psychic Medium (paranormal) what you think the panel may have chosen in a round and why. You can take or leave this advice. The advice may or may not prove helpful. The third type of Gutcheck allows you to ask our AI what our 100 person panel to reveal their actual selection for that particular round. That revelation also may or may not prove to be useful because there is no guarantee that the selected panel member has actually avoided choosing the least popular object themselves. Each category of Gutcheck can be called upon once during a game.

How To Win Intuition

If you successfully complete all the rounds you will enter the final round.

In this round our panel has again been asked to select their favorite object. This time, you must reflect the panel’s top 3 choices in their correct order to win the grand prize. You get 3 chances to accomplish this.

After each choice is made in the final round, you will be told how many objects you have correct and if they are in the correct order. You will not be told which objects are in right position. This makes the “mastermind” round extremely challenging.

Odds of Winning
The odds of winning the grand prize are less than .5% – 1 in 200.

Average Payout
The average payout to a contestant will be $101,117

Average Game Length
40% of the players will reach round 6

Now What?

No questions, only answers. The choices seem obvious, but are they? How good is your intuition? Find out. Go Play.

Gutchecks

We all know that as much as we trust our own intuition sometimes we need to check it.   We’ve partnered with three experts in intuition and interpretation of the world:

When you play intuition you can access their insights to help you win the game.  Of course, they are interesting creatures unto their own right.  Why not get to know them a little bit?
